Both the amateur medal award programme and the professional qualification programme are operated in association with IDTA, so the required high standards of teaching are attained.

At Dance Connection, we’re delighted to award our dancing students – children and adults alike – with medals for their achievements. They act as reward, recognition and motivation for further progress. Moreover, the medal test days are always super-charged with excitement and anticipation – days to look forward to. Then there’s the social presentation evenings, another feel-good occasion for everyone.
Medal tests at all levels are held twice a year with presentation social evenings held shortly afterwards.
Professional Teaching Programme
Our dance director Chris Freeman, undefeated UK Ballroom Dance champion and fully qualified teacher, is expert at helping dancers progress their careers professional qualifications.
